We are looking for a self motivated and horse loving person to step in to the role of trainer/rider for a private Eventing family. Ideal candidate would be comfortable schooling horses on XC, capable of creating a training schedule for our 8-10 horses, and teaching riders ranging from beginners to seasoned adult amateurs. Ideally comfortable schooling horses up to 1.20m in show jumping and introducing young horses to new XC jumps. We have two locations, so would need to be prepared to base in Ny and travel to Martha’s Vineyard for summers. We have a wonderful staff in place so a team player is necessary. Our grooms are excellent and knowledgeable, the perfect right hand for a trainer. Our horses range from seasoned event horses to young prospects. There is on site living accommodation available, well behaved dogs welcome, and possibility for a stall. Possibility for trainer and some horses to travel south for the winter. This is not a competition position, but we are happy to work competing your private horse into the schedule.

Well paid position for a dedicated person. Weekly pay starting at 1,500 possible for more if trainer does not need living or stall. Well behaved dogs welcome.
