Excellent organizational skills: Our days are fast paced and depending on the day, the veterinarians and assistants may be on the road the entire day. A successful office unicorn must be a self-starter and able to maintain a tidy office space and independently manage follow-up tasks (check-ins with owners, scheduling, billing) among other responsibilities.
Familiarity with equine care, common equine medications, veterinary terminology and operation of basic lab and sterilization equipment a plus but on-the-job training will be provided to the right candidate.
Willingness to assist veterinarians and assistants in the cleaning, organization and maintenance of veterinary vehicles, equipment and supplies.
Clean driving record with a current unencumbered driver's license. You may be asked to drive practice-owned vehicles to appointments or to run errands.
Must be capable of lifting and maneuvering 50 pounds.
Preference given to applicants residing in New Hampshire.
