ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR/RIDING INSTRUCTOR

Summary Description: The Administrative Coordinator/Riding Instructor (AC/RI) is a position which allows BINA to offer Full Time employment to an individual who will be able to provide all aspects of administrative support to BINA operations when they are not providing lessons or supporting the Volunteer Coordinator. AC/RI reports to the Communications Manager and Associate Director as needed.

Riding Instructor This aspect of the position requires a MA Riding License and either a PATH Certification or willing to become PATH certified. Instructor will be scheduled for 20 lessons per week.

Program and Participant Administration:   This aspect of the position works with the Program Coordinator to ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries and facilitates the smooth operation of all matters related to participants and programming, including:  

Under the guidance of the Communications Manager and Program Coordinator, assists with program scheduling Assists the Volunteer Coordinator as needed. Responding to phone and email inquiries regarding our programs and mission.   Processing and maintaining all Participants and program paperwork. Ensuring all documents submitted are completed- including all signatures.  Making sure all paperwork is up to date.  Ensuring participants have proper medical clearance following a change in medical status.   Assist Communications Manager in maintaining all CRM databases/spreadsheets, lists, templates, including but not limited to Better Impact, Equi-Force, Sharepoint filings with required information. Administrative support for the all Managers and the Associate Director.    Answering the phone and checking voicemail for urgent messages and distributing communications.  Maintaining a neat and organized work environment.  Assisting wherever needed to ensure in the seamless operation of our nonprofit.

Requirements

Embracing and represent the Mission of BINA Farm Center.  Bachelors Degree Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Microsoft Office Previous experience in a PATH center or a program servicing those with special needs is preferred.  Being highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple assignments and deliver quality results on time.   Being able to work independently.   Being a good team player and maintaining positive office morale.   Attend staff meeting  Available on weekends with notice for special events  Knowledge of CRM systems is a plus and or ability to learn independently.   Maintaining a valid driver’s license and have access to an operational and insured vehicle.   MA Riding License PATH Certificate or: in process or will begin the process
