Professional Rider, Eventing Trainer USEF "R" and FEI Cross Country course designer, ICP level 3 instructor is looking for a motivated, Self starting, working student. Grooming, Feeding, General barn work, Exercising horses , helping with horses at shows, show grooming, Specialized care for all horses. Lots of on the job training. The ability to expand your knowledge of horsemanship, riding competition skills, training etc. I have brought many students up through the 4 and 5 star level in Eventing. We are located in Maryland a short drive to VA, PA, NJ, DE, and many major events. We have a lovely place in Aiken where we spend our winters, Training, competing, producing young horses. There is lots of private lessons in this program. I focus on producing the education of the rider along with training and producing the horse that they bring into the program. Room and Board for your self and Board, Training is included for your horse. The meals are delicious, the accommodations are excellent. I am always willing to educate students on walking, planning, and riding, both SJ and XC courses. A very positive and motivated program, with lots of individualized instruction. Bringing a horse is required.
Requirements
Would like someone who is a self starter and a personality that's great with clients and other staff. If any of the above required areas of expertise are limited, we are willing to train. Bring your own horse.
