Single Arrow Farm is a boutique dressage barn looking for a barn manager to live on site. We offer personalized care to our boarders with high attention to detail and a spotless environment. We are very lucky to have amazingly nice boarders who all own very sweet well-mannered horses. We are looking for someone that will add to the great positive energy we are cultivating.
We are located within a reasonable commute from DC, NoVA & Annapolis. We have a brand new finished studio apartment available on-site (utilities included) and stalls available for your horse(s) if desired. This position can be either paid hourly or on a per stall monthly rate if you're an efficient worker and would prefer a more consistent income.
Responsibilities would include daily care 10 horses- feed, stalls, water (buckets & troughs), turnout, blanketing, aisle blowing, sweeping tack & feed room, picking feet, hand picking small pastures, caring for two quiet barn cats, picking loose hay and general cleanliness. There would also be the ability to earn extra money if you wanted to offer additional services to boarders. Our facility was built in 2017 and is well maintained. There would be no arena dragging or grounds maintenance required.
Our wonderfully kind dressage trainer is a Grand Prix gold medalist and would be available for lessons and mentorship.

Single Arrow Farm is a boutique barn and dressage facility located conveniently from Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Annapolis. Our equestrian facility was built in 2017 and includes a beautiful 12 stall barn with 12x12 sunshine stalls with partially covered outdoor runs for every horse, temperature controlled tack and feed rooms, hot/cold wash stall, fans in the stalls and fly spray system. It also features a large (240x60) lighted outdoor arena with sand and fiber footing groomed regularly, round pen and six adjoining pastures for private turnout. Our 43 acre farm features two historic tobacco barns, ice house and livestock barn. We have 14 wooded acres with riding trails and plenty of grassy hills to hack out on.
