Unique opportunity to run a training and lesson business out of an established 70 horse facility in heart of eventing horse country in Montgomery County, Maryland. We have 10-15 clients looking for instruction and guidance through the levels of eventing (mostly low level), as well as lunging, training rides, and jumping lessons. Full-time teaching and riding role, allowed to grow business in area as well. Great opportunity for a working student of a reputable eventer looking to start out on their own.
Qualifications Required:
• Competition record with USEF recognized shows
• Prior experience teaching lessons
• Ability to teach adult amateurs that want a fun and creative approach to eventing
• Experience working with young and/or difficult horses and riding horses out
• Ability to provide successful client management and support to barn manager
• Ability to teach on evenings and on weekends; support clients at local shows
• Assist the farm in developing interesting and educational clinic opportunities
