Full time groom for a small (4-6 horses) eventing barn located in Boyds, MD April - December and Ocala, FL January - March. Horses ranging from 3 star to training level. Tasks include but are not limited to grooming at home and shows, tacking and untacking, braiding, icing, tack cleaning, hacking etc. Very limited barn work required (barn chores every other weekend), position mostly consists of horse care. Very reasonable hours. Experience is a plus, but I am happy to teach the right candidate and will be working with you in the barn. Riding is a possibility depending on experience/ability. Fun, laid back atmosphere that focuses on quality of care for our horses. Salary dependent on experience, living included if desired, with the potential to bring a horse. Looking for someone to start August 1st with a one year commitment. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, mature, reliable, friendly, hardworking, and able to take initiative.
