We are looking for an Assistant Barn Manager for our stable of 20+ horses/ponies. Barn duties include all related horse care activities, i.e., grooming, feeding, stall cleaning, clipping, first aid. Also be able to ride at intermediate level or better on horses, both green & schooled. Riding includes schooling on the flat, over fences and cross country with professional supervision. Some showing, unrated with opportunities to take your horse to same shows. Facilities on our 50 acres include 20 stall barn, indoor arena, five pastures, three paddocks and 300x200 all-weather outdoor arena well equipped with jumps. Generous trails and cross riding. -THIS JOB PRESENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN MANY ASPECTS OF THE HORSE BUSINESS SUCH AS MANAGEMENT, TRAINING, SHOWING, TEACHING -IN THE PAST 50 YEARS MANY OF OUR ASSOCIATES HAVE BECOME VERY SUCCESSFUL, RESPECTED HORSEWOMEN, THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY.
Requirements
SINGLE & AVAILABLE TO WORK FOR AT LEAST A YEAR. PREFER AN ATHLETIC GIRL.
LIVE ON FARM & SHARE A TWO BEDROOM COTTAGE WITH ANOTHER GIRL.
FARM RULES. NO MARIJUANA OR OTHER DRUGS. NO SMOKING IN BARN OR HOUSE.

Focused on horsemanship, good skills and a fun atmosphere we engage in an occasional local show, host our annual Joe Fargis clinic, and take field trips to local trails & cross country. We are a low key, drama free, small cohesive community of like-minded, mostly adult riders, building an environment where horses & people are thriving.
