Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Follows feeding schedule. • Turns horses in and out according to turn out schedule. • Removes waste and wet bedding from stalls. • Beds stalls. • Cleans/Fills water buckets and tubs. • Places feed hay in paddocks. • General and routine barn/farm upkeep. • Keeps barn areas tidy – sweeping, removing cobwebs, raking, scrubbing walls, etc. • Animal grooming duties. • Greet and assist farm visitors. • Cleans manure and other detritus from paddocks.

Requirements

Experience working with horses. Drivers license, clean criminal record. It requires sound judgment, the ability to make thoughtful decisions in a timely manner, adaptability, the ability to cooperatively work with others.
