Stable Manager for a private family farm focused on hosting clinics/educational events and supporting a competitive JR/YR. Candidate should be a self-starter and have significant experience in the equestrian industry managing show horses. Dressage experience is preferred.
Key duties include: Horse care and management: nutrition and feeding, mucking, turnout, blanketing, grooming, coordination of routine vet and farrier care, maintenance of health records for 2-3 show horses. Barn and property management: routine cleaning and basic maintenance of stables, arenas, paddocks, composting system, and trailers; ordering supplies. Clinic coordination and management: coordination of the farm's clinic and educational events, including booking clinicians, managing clinic entries and stabling, and providing on-site supervision during events. Showing: preparation and packing for off site shows and clinics, trailering and transport as needed, and show grooming as needed.
Requirements
Highly motivated self-starter with attention to detail Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written Outstanding organizational skills, with competencies in Google Drive/Sheets/Docs 6 day work week, including weekends and some holidays
