Legacy Sport Horses is a small, high-standard dressage training and sales barn. We’re hiring a Barn Manager & Facility Operations Lead who loves systems, takes ownership, and shows up—every day—because the horses depend on it.

This is a hands-on role and a key part of our crew. After training, you’ll mostly work independently using clear checklists and established procedures. Input is always welcome, but success in this role means executing our program the Legacy way—consistently and reliably.

What you’ll do:

Oversee daily barn routines and horse care execution (feeding, turnout, water checks, blanketing/fly needs as directed, grooming support, observation/reporting)

Keep the facility clean, safe, and organized (aisleways, stalls, arenas, tack areas, wash stall, laundry, etc.)

Coordinate and support appointments (farrier/vet visits, deliveries, contractors)

Order and restock supplies (feed/bedding/barn essentials) and keep inventory organized

Basic facility maintenance + problem solving (repairs, troubleshooting, keeping things running)

Drive truck and trailer as needed (experience required)

Lift/carry typical barn items (feed bags, equipment) and work comfortably in all weather

You are:

Exceptionally dependable and punctual

Detail-oriented, procedure-driven, and proud of doing things right

Calm, observant, and proactive about horse wellbeing and facility safety

Handy, capable, and not afraid to jump in and get it done

Schedule: Primarily mornings; weekend morning and evening availability required. Housing: On-site housing may be available (not pet-friendly). Property: Completely smoke-free.

Must be able to drive truck and gooseneck trailer

Modern two-bedroom apartment, air-conditioned, internet, etc. We can accommodate a horse, but cannot accommodate other pets.
