Join our property management team at a state-of-the-art equestrian club, provide private residence support for owners, work with a great team, and earn advancement based on contribution. The Property Maintenance Associate will be trained on all daily property maintenance (cleaning, errands), preventative maintenance (filters, equipment cleaning), scheduled maintenance (following all equipment service schedules), seasonal work requirements (landscaping, pool, snow removal), annual seasonal maintenance (closing areas for winter) and ongoing required property repairs (standard handyman work). Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC is a plus. The private residence is 15 miles south of the club, has seasonal requirements, and becomes the primary focus of the Property Maintenance Associate April – September. General tasks include: daily cleaning (pool, yard, and outdoor areas); weekly automobile rotation (cleaning, detailing, refueling, and scheduling service); weekly landscaping; weekly power boat maintenance (clean, oil, stock supplies for a 40-foot boat); snow removal, occasional driving, and basic errands. Responsibilities at the private residence are heavier in the summer months (pool, boat, and cars). During “off residence months”, the associate spends more time at the Equestrian Club assisting the team as required with barn repairs; rolling stock/equipment maintenance and service; landscaping; and snow removal. This position requires the ability to work in in a fast-paced environment, work with a team, and maintain flexibility working at both the private residence and the equestrian club based on delegated responsibilities and seasonal requirements. The Property Maintenance Associate works with our Property Engineer, Facilities Manager, equestrian club team (facilities, trainers, and owners) and reports to our Facilities Manager. Key characteristics include work ethic, accountability, teamwork, communication, and honesty. .
Requirements
Ability to work with a team, flexible, and open communicator. Knowledge rolling stock, equipment maintenance, and service requirements are a plus.
