High Valley Hanoverians (HVH) seeks an exceptional individual as a resident Dressage Trainer / Caregiver. HVH is a Hanoverian producing farm specializing in producing and training of these young dressage horses via our unique training method "Developing Hanoverian Athletes in the Mind & the Body"®. Horses in this program benefit from a rock-solid classical dressage foundation developed in conjunction with effective conditioning in our combined training fields, over gymnastic grids and on extreme mountain trails. Several HVH young horses have qualified for Young Horse National Championships, USDF Regional Championships and US Dressage Final Championship.
The position includes responsibility for the care and development of the HVH horses in the areas of daily care, ground training, backing, fitness development and dressage foundation with shared responsibility for stable care and turnout. Opportunity to receive training sessions under a local FEI dressage trainer as well as attend & participate in dressage competitions and clinics.
