SHM Stables located in North Florida is excited to welcome two new working students to our small competitive dressage facility.
We’re looking for someone that really would like to learn about dressage and how to properly bring horses safely up the levels.
At this time we have 1 open spot for a student to bring their own horse.
What we expect… 5 1/2 days a week, stall cleaning (4-6), turning out/in, bathing, grooming, feedings and nightcheck. All duties are split among 2-3 employees.
In return we offer 2-3 lessons a week with our gold medalist trainer, housing, show experience and weekly salary.

We offer a 3 bed 2 bath house located on the property that would be shared with one other working student.
Beautiful private dressage facility looking for a ambitious Working Student. Beech Gait Stable is newly built and has a ton to offer the right working student. We’ would love to add someone that wants to learn the world of dressage but might be on a budget. We offer a small private apartment, stall for you to bring a horse, 2-3 lessons per week with a wonderful trainer that has competed at the World champions with young horses, small weekly pay, 1 week of vacation per year and the opportunity to show along with us. At Beech Gait stable we have a very fair and easy work schedule. We believe every horse deserve special treatment daily, so we always have a minimum of two people working a day with a maximum of 12 horses.
Duties include turning in/out, feeding, stall cleaning, ordering hay/grain/supplies for the farm, grooming tacking/untacking, night check, and holding horses for vet/farrier. Working schedule is 6 days a week.
