Brooke Bayley Equestrian is looking for a barn manager to help manage her program at a stunning 31 acre farm in Ocala, FL. Brooke runs a successful barn of about 10-15 horses with horses ranging from babies being started to FEI event horses. Duties will include turn in/out, managing hay/shavings, organizing the barn/staff, general horse care, grooming and basic first aid. This would be someone who would like to stay home and run the barn. This position is for an experienced self starter who wants a family like environment and loves all aspects of horses. You will be asked to oversee all the necessary chores for the barn and be responsible for them getting done. You must be able to work with the other staff and help encourage in a positive, supportive way. While there isn't riding required, there is an option for riding. A positive attitude, calm demeanor and gentleness with horses is required along with the ability to handle fit, quirky horses. Previous management experience, fit and longevity is extremely important.

6 days/week, hours vary but normally within 7AM-4PM, can provide individual housing for the right fit and option for board/training.

Over 18, have driver's license, provide own health insurance, pass background check.

Single, private housing with shared laundry.

Salary, housing/training is optional.
