This is a live in position and full time job for the experienced horse person looking to settle down and escape the rat race, but needs a steady income and pleasant, calm, work environment. Minimum 5 years job experience caring for horses as an adult. Drug, tobacco free. No excessive alcohol use.

Part-time groom -Small family yard, to provide day-to-day care and grooming of our 4 ponies and 2 horses whilst maintaining a clean and tidy yard, and paddocks. Duties to include mucking out, grooming, clipping, plaiting, attending shows, riding (14.2, 15h and 16), lunging, management, and ordering of supplies and general care of the ponies. Facilities All-weather menage, horse walker, local hacking. Tackroom with heating, WC and hot water

We are looking for an experienced Head Competition Groom who is a 'people person' to take over the organisation of the Grooms and horses at home plus travelling to, and during, competitions throughout the country.
This is a team leader position that requires:
Extensive experience in Competition Grooming and all that it entails
Good leadership skills.
People management skills.
Comfortable giving direction to their Team
A calm, personable, patient and unflappable demeanour.
Knowledge and experience handling fit competition horses. .
Knowledge of horse equipment, loading and unloading.
Ability to liaise, negotiate and have excellent telephone and client skills.
Able to stay calm, kind and professional under pressure.
Good references.
Enjoy motivating their team of Grooms and happy to muck in.
This role requires someone dynamic with excellent organisational, leadership and people skills. Someone who is unflappable and can stay cheerful and calm even during the most stressful moments and under pressure. Someone who will take care of organisation of the grooms whilst away and at home so that they can, in turn, be calm and patient for the horses, who are our utmost top priority.
