Private dressage barn now hiring show groom. We work as a team to care for six upper level dressage horses and fulfil the vision of the owner/rider. The ideal candidate has experience in show grooming of dressage, hunter jumper, or eventing horses, however we would be willing to train the right person. Candidate must be a team player, teachable, reliable, have their own transportation, and be a US citizen, or hold a valid work Visa. All aspects of working with high end show horses are required, including special treatments; such as Bemer mat, Vitafloor, use of homeopathics, etc. In addition, team members are expected to perform tasks including but not limited to tack cleaning, barn laundry, sweeping, mixing grain and supplements, administering homeopathics, packing and unpacking for shows, and occasional stall cleaning.

Job Benefits
The candidate will receive a generous salary, shared housing, 1 hour for lunch, and maximum 8 hour shifts, (except for show days). This is not a riding position and we cannot accommodate boarding of employee’s horses. However, there are many boarding facilities in the area should the candidate want to bring a horse.
