Camp Counselor/Horseback Riding Instructor

Help girls become accomplished equestrians while you build your resume with Girl Scouts of West Central Florida’s Camp Wildwood, set among 600 wooded acres between Tampa and Orlando in Wildwood, FL. We’re seeking dual role Camp Counselors & Horseback Riding Instructors to join a creative team passionate about the benefits of camp and serving girls. Wildwood’s unique features include an active equestrian center, interactive nature center, a beloved pioneer homestead program, pool, and a beautiful new lakefront with new lakeside cabins. You’ll have the opportunity to perform meaningful work as a role model to campers of all ages from 6-17, leading them in equestrian activities or choose to do more with additional activities and like swimming, archery, arts/crafts, outdoor skills/environmental education, and more as you create fun-filled adventures and memories while making new friends from around the world. Additional opportunities available to earn certifications such as lifeguard, archery, & CPR/First Aid.
