Assistant Rider And Trainer At Barrett Farm

Barrett Farm is a full service show barn located just outside of Orlando, Florida. We are looking to add an assistant rider and trainer to our team. We focus on the development and training of horses and riders. We specialize in hunters, jumpers, and equitation. We have first time riders as well as competing national contenders. To be a good fit for our program as a rider you must have hunter, equitation, and jumper training with show experience. This includes the ability to prep and train horses for clients at home, as well as assist in developing show and sale horses. As a trainer you must be able to deliver excellent, safe, and fun lesson instruction through intermediate level at all different ages. Must have working knowledge of general equine health, soundness and care.

Job Requirements: Must have excellent flatwork as well as hunter, equitation, and jumper training with show experience. Must be able to ride and prep a variety of different types of horses. Must be willing to travel for shows, as well as prep and train horses and clients of varied levels at horse shows. Must have a consistent and pleasant personality, and be able to relate and connect to clients and staff in positive way. Must be reliable and reflect our values of integrity, communication, and teamwork.
