Rocky Mountain Pathways Ranch housekeeper will assist the staff in all aspects of their job. The housekeeper will help keep the lodge clean, turn over cabins, do all student and guest laundry, keep ranch bathrooms clean and stocked, and keep all hospitality areas organized. The housekeeper will report directly to the Hospitality Manager.
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:* -Greet our guests, students and other guests with a smile and express a genuine appreciation for them. -Follow state safety regulations based upon your job and for the rest of the ranch. -Follow all ranch standard guidelines. -Sweep, mop and vacuum floors in the lodge, dorm rooms and back rooms regularly. -Clean and fold student and guest laundry in a timely manner. -Responsible for maintaining housekeeping and ensuring that the lodge and cabins stay clean. -Help clean, strip beds, turnover and stock cabins before guests arrive in the cabins. -Assures all bathrooms and showers on the premise are kept clean and stocked with soap, paper towels and toilet paper. -Assist in putting away deliveries when necessary. -Keep an inventory of any cleaning supplies, bathroom supplies or cabin supplies. -Complete any cleaning tasks brought to you by your supervisors. -Assist the Hospitality Manager in any Bed and Breakfast related tasks. -Occasional driving as needed. -Other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
Professional, mature and experienced working with a wide range of populations (experience with both youth and adult clients). Ability to accept guidance and supervision. Enthusiasm, patience, sense of humor and self-control. Management and people skills. Must be willing to complete a medical exam after hire. Must be able to lift up to 40lbs and stand on your feet for up to 4 hours at a time. Able to work independent of others with minimal supervision. Availability to work most weekends and some evenings. Must hold a valid driver’s license for at least the past 3 years and have a clean driving record.

Blackbird Farm is a fun, outdoor education non-profit program dedicated to helping students practice confidence, teamwork, and connectedness. This new camp encourages students to explore new experiences, work effectively with a team, and recognize the importance of being connected to others. Located in Philo, CA.
