I have experience with ponies, hunters, jumpers, and equitation horses and show experience. I have young horse and import experience. I can handle quirky, spooky, etc. I manage meds, give shots, schedule for the vet, farrier, and alternate therapies. I own and drive a 2-horse and am happy to learn a bigger rig.
I am a Certified Crystal Healing Therapist who specialises in working with horses either on a daily routine or a specified programme schedule to balance and align their energy frequencies emotionally and physically. I am also an experienced rider and I'm not afraid of hard work. I was born in Zimbabwe, Africa and I have been living in Zambia for 18 years so I am used to working hard and working with all sorts of horses. I am a British Citizen and I have now moved to the UK to work on horses here
Experienced Groom/Barn Manager seeking FT live in permanent position at small (up to 6 horses) facility.
We are currently looking for Trail Guides at our Camp Mather location! Approximately 10-15 horses are used daily for guided rides. Trails range in length from 30 mins to 2 hours.
As a wrangler, your most important responsibility will be that of guiding our guests on these trails. You will be expected to provide a safe and enjoyable horseback riding experience for each person on your ride in all kinds of weather. The job of wrangler/trail guide demands full knowledge of trails, horses, safety and emergency procedures, and a genuine ability to get along with guests and coworkers.
In addition to guiding rides, you will be expected to participate in all of the duties required to keep the livery operating efficiently.. An example of some of these tasks include: maintaining stalls and barns, general upkeep of the facility, grooming and feeding horses, and mounting and dismounting riders. A few examples of the physical requirements of the job are: lifting 65 pounds (equivalent to a hay bale) up to 4 feet, running to get horses throughout the day, mounting and dismounting guests and/or yourself on a 15+ hand tall horse with no assistance, raking, and shoveling manure. There is a lot to be done each day.

We teach the public basic horsemanship and enhance riding abilities of all ages and skill level. At the San Francisco and Woodside location, we offer English, Western, Trail Rides, and more. At the Milpitas location, we offer Western lessons, Toddler programs, and Toddler programs.
