Requirements
MUST Relocate to CA
At least 1-2 years of experience caring for equines preferred Travel required for at least 40 weeks during the year, including potential for international travel Knowledge of safe work practices around horses and other livestock Must have Driver’s License/ Ability to operate Tractors preferred Must have proof of authorization to work in the United States and a clear background check Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, self-motivated and self-starter Physical ability to work outdoors on uneven, slippery terrain in varying weather conditions with dust and allergens, and ability to twist, bend, kneel, climb, and use hand tools as necessary Ability to lift 80-100 lbs Strong commitment to teamwork and communication skills Ability to adapt to changes throughout the day

Pomponio Ranch operates ranching and equestrian businesses out of two locations. We are at PR South which operates an equestrian facility in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. We train horses and riders for elite international horse show jumping competition. Karl Cook and Eric Navet are the two primary elite riders for Pomponio Ranch. The facility also accommodates third party horse boarders who keep and train their horses on-site.
