Kalie Beckers Dressage is seeking a responsible, motivated, and experienced Professional Horseman to join our team. This position involves the hands-on care and management of horses on-site, with a primary focus on their daily feeding, well-being, and facility upkeep. You will work alongside our team to ensure a high standard of equine care and facility functionality.

Work Hours and Schedule:

• Standard hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday
• Flexible lunch hours provided
• Full weekends off can be negotiated with advance notice, provided they do not conflict with scheduled shows or critical events

Compensation and Benefits:

• Weekly pay: $600
• Holidays paid at double rate
• Housing provided on site (utilities not included)
• Not required to live on site unless both owners (Sam and Kalie) are out of town

Primary Responsibilities: Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Feeding all horses on site
• Cleaning stalls and maintaining clean, safe barn and pasture environments
• Bringing horses in and turning them out daily
• Holding horses for vet or farrier
• General repairs (e.g., fixing fence lines, hoses, jumps, gates)
• Arena maintenance (e.g., spinning arena)
• Lawn and grounds care (e.g., mowing, weed eating)
• You are not expected to manage the entire facility alone. The top priority is horse care, followed by essential facility maintenance. Any additional time will be used for grounds upkeep.

There is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath mobile home situated on the property. You are responsible for electricity every month.
