Currently seeking an individual to run our horseback riding program this summer. We run a western program that includes lessons in an outdoor arena, trail riding, bareback riding and the occasional cattle drive.

The job includes teaching groups of children of all riding abilities. For many campers, it may be their first time on a horse while others may ride year-round.

Job Requirements: -Extensive riding experience, Western experience preferred -Bareback riding experience -Experience teaching barnyard etiquette and tacking and riding techniques to groups -Interest in working in an environment with children ages 6-16 -Excellent team work ability, as the position will work on a staff of 25+ and directly with one other riding instructor

The job begins on June 11th and ends August 14th. pay for the summer is $3,100 and room and board are provided.Counselor responsibilities include supervising a sleeping area, supervising at meal times, running programs twice and a day and being an excellent role model for children.

*It is likely that this position will come earlier than June 11th in order to meet with the directors and become familiar with the horses and program.
