Role Overview

Our CDL Drivers are the first point of contact many guests have with Black Diamond. You’ll safely transport guests between local hotels and our tour facilities, provide friendly and welcoming customer service, and uphold a professional and reliable presence at all times. This is a guest-facing role with a focus on safety, punctuality, communication, and hospitality. You’ll operate within a 10-mile radius, running scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs throughout the day.

Primary Responsibilities Transportation & Safety

• Safely operate a shuttle bus or passenger van following DOT, state, and company regulations
• Conduct scheduled guest pick-ups and drop-offs along a predetermined route
• Maintain constant awareness of road conditions, weather, and passenger safety
• Ensure all passengers are properly seated, briefed, and comfortable before movement
• Maintain calm, professional control in all driving situations

Vehicle Inspection & Upkeep

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including:

Fuel levels Cleanliness Tire and light checks Mechanical or safety concerns Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times Report maintenance issues promptly to management

Work Environment & Expectations

• Includes early mornings, afternoons, or evenings depending on schedule
• Requires being outdoors briefly during load/unload in all weather conditions (rain, wind, cold, etc.)
• Must remain punctual, reliable, and organized — shuttle timing is essential to tour operations

Required:

• A valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement
• Good driving record
• Ability to pass all pre-employment safety checks

We are very specifically looking for people who can do multiple things in one day. When applying, please list all areas of interest to you. HOUSING:

We have an employee housing facility that is walking distance to work. It is set back away from the daily operation so you have an area that is private from the hustle and bustle of the business. Our facility consists of 14 mobile homes that we rent each room for $15 per day and that includes utilities and supplies. These are single rooms That 1 person stays in. There are 2 to 8 people per mobile home and each are set up differently. It is not mandatory to live at our housing to work for us.
