An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and hardworking person to join the team at Greatwood, set in the beautiful Marlborough countryside. The successful candidate will be joining a great team and be working on a professional yard of former racehorses, which prides itself on outstanding levels of animal welfare.

Responsibilities to include: ● Keeping the stables, yard and equipment clean and tidy ● Ensuring the yard is maintained as a safe and clean area ● Caring for all animals at Greatwood, including our Shetlands, goats and flock of poultry, alongside our former racehorses. The candidates should ● preferably have Thoroughbred/racehorse experience ● have horse management and care skills, being able to handle horses quietly, confidently, kindly, competently and respond appropriately to emergencies ● be organised and able to behave in a professional manner ● be able to work within a team ● be articulate, with good communication skills in order to represent Greatwood appropriately ● be physically fit, happy to work hard and be reliable ● be flexible and able to respond rapidly to changing priorities.
