We are looking for a very experienced groom to join our private competition yard.

This is mainly a non-riding role, with the focus on excellent horse care, turnout and day-to-day management. Riding may be available for the right person but is not required.

Applicants must be confident handling fit competition horses and ideally have experience grooming at shows. High standards, attention to detail and a calm, kind approach are essential.

Duties include all usual stable work, grooming, bathing, tacking up, tack cleaning, turnout, yard organisation and assisting at shows where required.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised, neat, hardworking and able to use their initiative. You must genuinely care about the horses and take pride in keeping them happy, healthy and beautifully looked after.

Most importantly, a real passion and pride in what they do!

This is a 5/5.5 day week, including some weekend days required for shows.

Very good package offered, including good pay and pension scheme. PLEASE NOTE: Salary is dependent on experience and live in/out.
