GROOM

Hambro Sport Horses is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Groom to join our professional team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-quality yard with top sport horses in a supportive and driven environment.

Key Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be proactive and hands-on with a high attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Daily care of both competition horses as well as broodmares and youngstock Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard environment Daily care of horses, including feeding, grooming, mucking out, and turnout Tacking up for training and competition Assisting with exercise routines and general yard duties Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and horse welfare Supporting the team at shows and events (optional)

Skills & Experience Required: A minimum of one year working in a groom role Excellent horse handling and grooming skills A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain a high standard of organisation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and passionate about horses and their care Confident in handling both young and competition horses Positive, hardworking attitude and a love for horses! This role can be a riding or non riding role
