We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic new team member to join us at Growth Equestrian.
This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who is passionate about horses, enjoys working outdoors, and wants to make a positive impact through equine activities with children and young people.
Main Responsibilities: • General yard duties including mucking out, feeding, tidying, and maintaining a clean, safe environment • Bringing horses in from the field and turning them out • Grooming, tacking up, and preparing horses for lessons and activities • Supporting the day-to-day care and welfare of our horses • Assisting with riding lessons and equine sessions • Delivering equine-based activities for children and young people • Helping create a positive, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and participants
What We’re Looking For: • Previous yard or equine experience preferred • Confident handling horses and working around a busy yard environment • A positive attitude, reliable, hardworking, and a good team player • Passion for helping children and young people develop confidence through horses • Teaching or coaching experience is desirable
Essential Requirement:
We are looking for someone who has either: • BHS minimum stage 2 teach or UKCC qualifications. Or, must have teaching/instructing experience and willing to undertake training to become a qualified instructor.
