A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our successful competition yard for a part time freelance groom. The position includes all general yard duties, tacking up, washing off and all aspects of care for the horses. We ideally need someone who can work at least one weekend day. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a highly successful team where you will be working and training alongside an International Grand Prix Dressage Rider and International Show Jumper. The right person will need to be a competent, experienced person and to have an exceptionally high standard of care.
You will need to be reliable, enthusiastic and have a desire to achieve, you will also need to be willing to learn about handling and working with all types of horses, at all stages of training.

Platinum Stud is a professional competition yard and stud based on a 500 acre farm in Beech Hill, Berkshire. We produce show jumpers and dressage horses and have 25 competition liveries based here with us. We are a highly experienced team, and we take great pride in the care and training of all our horses and clients. We travel all across the UK competing and rely on our team to help support the yard at home. We have indoor and outdoor facilities and are all very hands on and work together to produce and maintain the yard and horses to the highest standards, all year round. We have a number of brood mares and young stock that we breed and care for onsite too. We are very lucky to have the most supportive and loyal clients and owners, who all help to make it a busy but very happy yard.
