Our team exists out of 3 riders, 2 grooms and approximately 25 ridden dressage horses from 3 yr olds to Grand Prix Level. We breed showjumpers and dressage foals and in general 16 foals are born and raised at ours each year. Next to our private sports and breeding yard we have a livery/riding school with approximately 30 horses.
We are focussed on sports, breeding, training/coaching & livery. We participate on National level up to Grand Prix in The Netherlands and Belgium and go to several CDI's a year.
Aproximate day schedule:
Morning 7:30 to aprox 13:00 start with feeding and then:
- putting horses in the field,
- straw in stables (quick sweep)
- tacking up/off for our riders (sometimes lunging a youngster before work)
- poopicking in arena's + extra chores / general maintenance
- feeding haylage / hay + sweeping
- bringing the horses in from the field and others in the field
Lunch (alltogether)
Afternoon to 17:00

We muck out all the stalls once every 2 to 3 weeks, manually and with a "bobcat".
Requirements
In general you have 2 days off a week. (We discuss which days would fit the schedule and needs)
We teach our training clients in evenings and you are welcome to watch.
Sometimes we go to training sessions and you can tag along.
We go to national or international shows and you can stay at home or come with us to watch (day - off) or help us on the show with grooming (work - day).
Riding is optional. You can bring your own horse and get training from us if you'd be interested. But you can also "rent/lend" one of our horses to have something to ride. Showing is optional as well.
If you are a licensed trainer, and speak Dutch, it is optional to give lessons in our riding school. Basic level dressage, hacks and cavaletti training.

Accommodation
You can stay in your private room with attached shared kitchennette and bathroom facilities.

We organize shows at our yard, those days the chores and sometimes the working hours will vary.
We try to involve our employees in our business as much as possible to take you to other places, meet people etc. so you really get a good view of the business and offcourse the country :).
We are easy accessible with public transport so if you want to explore the Netherlands / Belgium on a day - off we'd be happy to give you tips on were to go and how to get there.
We'd have a bicycle available for you to go to shops etc.
Off course you are welcome to tag along whenever we'd go somewhere "horsey".
It is possible to ride at our place yourself. Optional to bring your own horse or "rent/lend" one of our horses. Training and showing is optional as well.

Private owned stables with breeding facilities and neighboring riding school/livery yard. Right on the Belgium/Dutch border. Surrounded by woods for endless hacking! But close to shops etc. Easy acces by bicycle/car/public transport.
Indoor + outdoor schools, walker, fields/paddocks, barns, total of 25 private stables and 40 on riding school.
As a family we manage our business. Together with my mother, we breed dressage- and showjumpers, approximately 16 foals a year are born and raised. My husband and I show our horses in dressage up to Grand Prix at national (Belgium and the Netherlands) and international shows (all over Europe). We train & coach dressage riders from basic level up to Grand Prix, my husband is also known for training (Olympic) eventing riders in dressage.
Attached to our private sports stable, we have our riding school and livery yard. Expect to work within a fun team and a social environment. :)
