Looking for reliable hard working persons to join our team for the summer season in Ireland: Killarney - beautiful scenic south-west. It is a wonderful opportunity for a bubbly, enthusiastic, people-person who wants to work in a busy well established equestrian/trekking centre 5 minutes away from town centre. The applicant must be a COMPETENT horse person, with experience riding & giving confidence to young horses. Should be flexible between national park rides and multi day tour rides. Must have a passion for animals and attention to detail with the ability to work hard and be part of a team. Training is provided for the guide work. We work in a fast paced environment where taking initiative to complete tasks in a speedy manner is essential and we rely heavily on teamwork to achieve our goals. Killarney Riding Stables is a trekking and trail riding centre located adjacent to Killarney National Park. Located 1-mile West of Killarney town.
We are very lucky to have the oldest and largest National Park in Ireland right on our doorstep, providing the most beautiful backdrop for our daily trail rides in Killarney National Park for 1, 2 and 3 hours. We ride through the Knockreer Estate, North of Lough Lein, and take in panoramic views of Innisfallen Island & the McGillycuddy Reeks Mountains. Please note no jumping on any of our treks or trails
We also offer a ring of Kerry Post to Post Trail Ride through the famous Ring of Kerry. It is a 2 or 5 day long trek where one can ride on country lanes, mountain tracks (on one of the few post-to-post trail rides available in Ireland which means progressing from one scenic area to another each day and staying overnight at various stops along the way).
