Showjumping Competition Rider - Experienced, highly motivated rider to join a friendly team. You will be required to carry out general yard duties daily and care for our horses. Must be comfortable handling young horses, producing them through the levels. Must ride well on the flat & be accurate over a course of fences. The horses are 4-6 yr olds & very blood, so patience & knowledge are essential. Must be able follow a plan for the horses & produce them accordingly. Neat turn out at shows. *Top class home breds, by our own Stallions. Competition experience essential, preferably up to min 1.20m. Truck licence an advantage.
Both must be hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic IMMEDIATE START

One of the largest breeders & producers of young Irish Sport Horses in Ireland. Our horses are produced & sold on, competing at all levels up to 5* Showjumping & 5* Eventing level. The horses compete under the KEC prefix. *Horses are by the top class sires : OBOS Quality, KEC Maximum Joe, Lancelot, Lagan's OBOS Quality, Future Trend, Chacoa, Barely A Moment, with 3 yr olds in 2022 by Vivant. Mares are mainly home bred, some competed themselves &/or are well related to many top class horses. *The majority of the 3 yr olds (2018) are broken, with the remaining few in work at the moment, the 4 (2017) & 5 (2016) Yr olds are all riding with some competition experience in 2021. Modern Yard; Large Outdoor Menage; Indoor; Walker; Main activity is preparing youngsters (4 & 5yr olds) for competition & sale.
