We are looking for a trainee/working student/groom (Show Jumper and young horses) for our lovely family yard. (only native english speaker)

We have 35 horses, a few youngster and showjumper and around 15 privately owned horses.

Duties would be as follows:

Turning horses in and out on the paddocks and in the walker.Feeding and sometimes cleaning stables if the stable manager is on holiday. Handling young horses with vet and farrier. Lunging and tacking up.

Training is possible if wanted.

You don´t have to speak German, there will always be someone around who can help.

You will have 1,5 days per week off and have 2 days per month holiday.

If you could stay 5 months that would be good.

Start could be asap with some yard duties or beginning of November 2024 when all horses will be turned back in the stables.

You will have a nice modern big flat with bathroom We have a indoor swimming pool.

The next big city is Kiel which is 10 min by car or 20 min with the bus.

We have a team of around 10 nice young girls in the yard so that it is not boring .-) A well behaved small dog would be no problem.

Must be able to handle young horses. We will start working with 6 youngsters.
