We are Looking for a Groom (Show Jumper and broodmares) for our lovely family yard.
We have 35 horses, a few Holsteiner broodmares, youngster, showjumper and around 10 privately owned horses.
Duties would be as follows:
Turning horses in and out on the paddocks and in the walker.Feeding and cleaning stables, no mucking out, just picking up the poo in the morning. Handling young horses with vet and farrier. Lunging and tacking up optional.
You don´t have to speak German, there will always be someone around who can help.
You will have 1,5 days per week off and have 2 days per month holiday.
If you could stay 9 months that would be good - the longer you can stay would be appreciated! Long term would be perfect.
Start could be asap with some yard duties or beginning of September 22 when all horses will be turned back in the stables.
You will have a nice modern big flat with own new bathroom and own new kitchen. We have a indoor swimming pool.
The next big city is Kiel which is 10 min by car or 20 min with the bus.
We have a team of around 10 nice young girls in the yard so that it is not boring .-) A well behaved small dog would be no problem.

I lived and worked on Tina and Nico's farm for 9 months, and this experience was absolutely perfect for me and what I was looking for. I learned so much about horse care, breeding, breaking/starting youngsters, and the training of horses at all ages and levels. Tina is an amazing person to work for and a very talented equestrian who has so much to offer to anyone she teaches. I gained so much experience riding many different horses at different points in their training and I became a much stronger rider. It was also so nice to be part of the family, and live and cook all together. It's always so much fun with the family, especially her two young daughters, who taught me so much German, and are absolute sweethearts. I felt like I was at home here, and I will definitely come back and work for Tina again. I would stay forever if I could! This is the perfect job for anyone who loves horses and wants to learn more about having a business with horses on a professional level.
