Groom/Housekeeper

Private home and yard in Allier. Looking for a mature, responsible person to help with day to day care of 3/4 ponies. Mostly living out. No riding required. Keeping the small yard area clean, grooming, making farrier appointments, following feeding schedules etc. Care of chickens and possibly our dog very occasionally.

Also need some help around the house with light housework and grocery shopping/errands.

Interest/knowledge of gardening or willingness to learn/get involved would be great as we have a walled garden and large greenhouse

Full time or part time depending on skills and experience, we can discuss.

Prefer someone with experience in a similar role and with references.

Driving license required

French speaking preferred but not essential. Good English required.

Accommodation provided (but if you live close enough living out is fine). This will be a beautiful brand new very comfortable spacious studio apartment.

The property is on 15 acres. Paddocks and gardens. Walled garden, with new Hartley botanical greenhouse. Peaceful, idyllic location.

Start date would be ideally May/June 2023. Interviews late April.
