Working student position offered at Top Dressage Training facility!

This program is for those interested in furthering their riding skills, and learn all aspects of horsemanship and care at a high level. This is an opportunity to train under two High Performance Dressage Coaches/Grand Prix riders to learn and polish your riding and skills as well as learning how to run a stable in an orderly and efficient manner, while giving our horses professional care. This is a great opportunity for those looking to travel abroad and work with horses or someone who is interested in furthering their riding and horse knowledge.

Team Irwin travels to Wellington, Florida for January until the end of March. There is also the opportunity to go along.

Students work 6 days per week with one day off. The day starts at 6:30 am and is finished approximately at 5:00 pm or when chores are complete.

Duties include all barn chores, feeding, turning out, cleaning stalls, grooming, tacking up, hand walking, lunging, tack cleaning, and general barn maintenance, as well as having the opportunity to groom for us at competitions.

Accommodations will be provided.

You will also learn how to manage our equine athletes with everyday therapies and to help assist the vet, chiropractor, and other therapists in their sessions.

Students work in exchange for their training and accommodation with some pocket money for groceries.

Candidate must have a visa to travel to Canada, and the USA if going to Florida for the winter.
