Private Residential & Private On-site Equestrian Property

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Live-In Grounds & Maintenance Caretaker to oversee the year-round care and upkeep of a private residential estate with private equestrian facilities. This is a long-term opportunity for a self-motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining property, equipment, and systems to a high standard.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Facilities Manager and Property Owners, working collaboratively to ensure the property is maintained to a high operational and aesthetic standard.

Key Responsibilities

Snow removal and seasonal grounds maintenance Lawn care, field mowing, and arena harrowing General repairs and preventative maintenance of buildings and infrastructure Operation and maintenance of skid steer, mowers, and related equipment Oversight of wells, irrigation systems, ponds, pumps, and septic systems Pond & fountain maintenance, including fish care and water monitoring Fence maintenance and general landscaping Coordinating service providers and contractors as needed Assisting with horses (5-10 pending season) as required, occasional feeding, mucking, and night checks Qualifications

Experience in estate, agricultural, or large-property maintenance Comfortable operating machinery and performing physical outdoor work Basic mechanical and handyman skills Experience with horses Strong work ethic and ability to work independently Valid driver’s license Compensation & Living Arrangement
