An eclectic group of English and Western riders keep their horses at Amado Equine!
The facility is located on 91 acres and is home to over 50 horses. Most of the horses live out in the pastures 24/7.
I spent just under three months with Bobbi and Gus, and learned so much in that time. The work can be physically demanding, but is definitely rewarding: with opportunities to see clinics and shows as well as developing farming skills, riding different types of horses, and undertaking normal ranch tasks. They are highly dedicated, passionate horse people, who will devote time to teaching you. Gus's natural horsemanship and Bobbi's dressage lessons were excellent, and will never be forgotten. Their property is beautiful, and their home is welcoming; a nice place to live and learn.
