LiftMeUp! (LMU) is an equine-assisted services program founded in 1975 and is one of the longest running therapeutic riding programs in the area. Our mission is to provide safe, effective, and challenging equine-assisted therapeutic riding and wellness programs dedicated to helping children and adults with a wide range of issues. By combining the use of carefully selected horses with the skills of PATH-certified (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship - pathintl.org) instructors, LMU helps clients develop physically, mentally, and emotionally in ways quite different from traditional therapy. LMU offers innovative programs that provide safe, medically sound, and progressive therapy to children and adults with physical, cognitive, and behavioral challenges to help them gain confidence, strength, and invaluable self-esteem in a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment
