We are a 100-acre, privately owned summer camp facility, where horse riding is one of our many activities.
Qualifications:
• Two of the three Riding Instructors must be at least 18 years of age
• You will be certified in First Aid and CPR by the American Red Cross
Your experience and expertise:
You must have a good deal of experience riding horses and be able to teach basic fundamentals of Western riding to all campers at the beginner and advanced level. You need to be able to teach skills in a way that will be fun and interesting for the campers. You need to be able to teach safety in a way that will help but not scare the campers. You should have had plenty of experience caring for horses, including feeding, mucking out and grooming. Tending to the horses is an important part of the job.
