Tucked away on the pristine shores of a beautiful mountain lake in the Adirondacks, Camp Chateaugay has been the summer “home away from home” for campers aged 7 -17 years old, since 1946. We’re a co-ed, traditional, sleep-away summer camp that’s focused as much on building independence, self confidence and deep friendships as we are on world-class training in a variety of land sports, water sports, and arts — all while having fun and creating life-long memories. With over 250 acres of land, 25+ cabins and over 60 different electives to choose from, there is always something new to try at Camp Chateaugay. Camp Chateaugay offers campers the chance to unplug from technology and connect with nature, in a safe & inclusive environment with our stables house up to 10 horses with tack and feeding rooms and our riding ring includes jump elements and a sand surface
