Red Fern Riding Center is located at a beautiful 365 acre public park dedicated exclusively for horses and hikers. We have 25 miles of trails and for trail riding and a small cross country course. The facility has both an indoor and outdoor arenas and round pen for training.
Our lesson program is small but rapidly growing. We teach a mix of adult armatures and kids.
We provide English riding lessons, and teach horsemanship from the ground up.
Lessons include learning horsemanship and safety, how to brush, tack up, horse behavior and body language and ground work. Our riders foundation is built on Dressage principals: learning horse movement and feel and personal equitation. Riders must have confidence, balance and a clear understanding of basic ques before they are moved up the levels or begin jumping.
