Using the equine as our educational tool and member of our “team” in delivering evidence-based programming, GHETC has a 19-year history in enhancing the educational, physical, and social-emotional learning of more than 4,200 underserved MDC children, youth and adults life-to-date. Since 2001, GHETC has operated as the only Premier Accredited(PATH, International) facility in South Florida and one of 272 accredited internationally. PATH provides industry standards for safe and ethical equine interaction through education, communication, standards and research.
GHETC offers the following array of innovative programs: riding lessons in the disciplines of Hunter/Jumper & Western, attends local schooling shows, implements Equine Assisted programming for ages five and up with varying disabilities/health related conditions; PATH workshops/certifications focusing on industry best practices; and Horses Helping Heroes which serves veterans returning from active duty.
