Blue Rose Ranch is a large Horse Rescue and Horse Retirement Community located in SE Colorado, two miles north of the town of Springfield. We currently have 67 horses divided between our two ranch properties. We rescue, rehabilitate, and prepare horses for adoption. Those not adopted find sanctuary here for life. In addition to rescue horses we have 30 high- dollar horses in our Horse Retirement Community. These retired horses are owned by individuals but we care for them. Some of our horses are older and require maintenance feed/care. The facility has an indoor riding arena, many corrals, a professional training round pen, shelters, and stalls. Horses primarily live outdoors. Our youth riding and leadership programs are important to the community. Springfield is located in a rural part of the Colorado plains. There are good schools and the town hosts a quality life. There is a hospital, medical clinic, pharmacy, grocery store, restaurants, convenience stores, etc.
