Virtual Payroll Assistant – Remote Job Description As our Virtual Payroll Assistant, you’ll be responsible for handling the payroll needs of our equestrian facility, which includes full-time, part-time, and seasonal team members. You'll collaborate with barn management and our core operations team to ensure accurate, timely, and confidential payroll delivery. Key Responsibilities Process bi-weekly payroll using platforms like Gusto, QuickBooks, or similar. Coordinate with barn and facility managers to verify hours and timecards. Track bonuses, overtime, holiday pay, and deductions. Ensure compliance with federal and California labor laws. Maintain accurate payroll records and generate summary reports. Respond to staff payroll questions and resolve any discrepancies. Assist with documentation including W-2s, 1099s, and benefits tracking.
