Therapeutic Riding of Tucson (TROT) has been enriching the lives of individuals affected by disabilities through equine assisted activities and therapies since 1974. TROT is a non- profit 501(c)(3) organization specializing in Adaptive Riding and Equine Assisted Counseling programs. TROT works with children, adults, veterans and first responder living with emotional, mental and physical challenges. We have been serving our community for over 48 years. As one of the first facilities in the United States to innovate the use of horses as a treatment modality, we continue to empower individuals of all ages and abilities to live life without barriers. TROT is a Premier Accredited Center by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship. TROT is located on 18 acres in Tucson, Arizona. TROT owns 17 horses which work hard for the clients we serve in our therapeutic/adaptive and equine assisted counseling programs.
