Eager rider and former horse owner looking for work in the Southeast Florida area/ West Palm. I have been around horses my entire childhood and am looking to gain experience in the equine industry now that I am older. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
I am a brave, competent rider and have 12 years of experience riding, training and handling horses. I assisted for several months in managing Lindinhof, working all the horses, and communicating with the vets, clients and farrier. I am experienced in several different managing styles, and readily capable of adapting to almost any methods and routines. I spent 3 summers working in Glacier National Park leading trail rides, scheduling guests and managing a herd of 35 horses and 5 employees.
Taking care of 30+ horses a day, helping host clinics and events, helping lead a kids camp, marketing and riding sales horses, maintaining a safe and tidy barn, braiding, clipping, wrapping, first aid, grooming and turning out to a high standard
I began riding lessons at 8, then from 12-18 was a working student for an eventing trainer. All training was done concentrating on the horses perspective, and training in harmony with them. I worked mainly with OTTBs and rescues, changing dangerous animals to happy beginner-safe. At 20 I spent a year as a working student at an FEI level dressage training facility. I helped train all levels and types of horses under the keen tutelage of the head trainer. I rode with and helped run clinics at the farm for Jeremy Steinberg, Melanie Michalak, and Jennifer Kotylo. She went to California for two months to compete, and I assisted in managing and maintaining the facility, lesson program, sales, and training. I then spent 6 months working in the UK on a dressage training and livery yard. I trained with the owner there, who has been training with the likes of Carl Hester, and FIorian Bacher for years. I learned all about the European methods of farm management, yard work and horse care.
Starting, training, and showing young horses, teaching green horses connection, balance, and lateral movements. Experienced with alternative training methods/natural horsemanship, classical dressage and eventing. I am a level-headed hard worker and quick learner. I pay close attention to details and I easily get along with all kinds of people. I like to think I have a pretty good sense of humor, and am not phased by working under stress or pressure. Extensive heavy machinery operating experience
I can ride almost all lateral movements and transitions, and am working on tempi changes and collection. I am experienced at lunging and in-hand work. I have extensive experience with field type riding- trails, cross country, foxhunting etc. I have also helped train a pony to drive and have done a fair amount of ground driving. I am open-minded and flexible, willing to adapt to different training methods and systems. I am a brave, forgiving person and willing to ride anything.
I started and trained several horses up to 3’9 (115 cm), and competed frequently at local horse trials, dressage, and jumping competitions, as well as participating in the occasional hunter pace and foxhunting excursion. The majority of my competition experience comes from taking out young horses I started, but from 12 dressage tests I averaged 60%, with a highest score of 70%. I was also reserve champion at a local hunter/jumper show, with a horse I did all of the starting and training on.
