Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.
Eager rider and former horse owner looking for work in the Southeast Florida area/ West Palm. I have been around horses my entire childhood and am looking to gain experience in the equine industry now that I am older. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
My qualifications include 11 years of hunt seat training and my position as a head groom for a show barn. Both of these positions have taught me everything I know about the sport and horses in general.
I rode horses from age 9 to age 21. During that period of time, I rode in weekly lessons and eventually progressed to riding 5 horses a day 5 days a week. My main area of experience is hunt seat, however I have trained and learned from dressage coaches as well as eventing coaches through clinics. I have also served as a head groom for a show barn as they showed around different horse shows in the Midwest and at our home barn, where I was responsible for the care of 30+ horses with the help of other grooms. I have experience grooming, cleaning stalls, tacking up and untacking, helping kids prepare for lessons, helping prep in the warm up ring, and more.
Specialties include riding various types of horses across different disciplines and backgrounds and adapting to every ride. Skilled and experienced with grooming and riding in a horse show setting from schooling shows to A shows.
My experience lies mostly in hunt seat. As I grew as a rider I found myself more active in helping train horses than finding myself in the show ring itself, due to monetary restrictions. I am knowledgeable when it comes to proper riding techniques and safety. I am willing and able to ride different styles of horses and adaptable to each ride.
I competed as an Amateur on leased horses when I was able to afford the costs of showing and wasn't employed by a barn. I've shown in 2'6" to 3' divisions. I am familiar with horse show divisions, procedures, rider statuses, and costs.
