I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
I am currently a student. However, I have grown with horses my whole life and have been in and out of barns/arenas. Recently did 10 months at an Andalusian breeding farm prior to me starting school. Used to the hard work grind of horse life.
As I said I've grown up with horses. Learned to ride when I was 10, been riding on and off since. Did a lot of Parelli work when I was younger, moved on to western/english pleasure. My latest gig had me mucking 30 stalls a day, turn-out for some, feeding over 60 horses morning + night, general farm maintenance(fixing fences, corrals, clearing deadfall, etc), and hauling feed for everyone. I work well alone or as a team. I've also got a few months at a race track under my belt, where I was mucking between 10-15 stalls a day, grooming everyone, and tacking up for training and leading to races. Got a calm head when a colt is spooking on the other end of the lead. Good horse sense that's come with working with them for so long.
Did jumping when I was younger. Mostly ride English now when I get the chance, but I started out on Western.
